Quiz competition organised by ICYM Moodubelle

Moodubelle, 19 Aug: The ICYM unit of St Lawrence parish, Moodubelle organized Quiz competition at St Lawrence PUC hall on August 18 at 2.30 pm.

 

The event was inaugurated by the Rev Fr Jithesh Castelino, Assistant Parish priest of St Lawrence Church, Mrs Latha Dmello, Secretary of parish council and the Quiz Master Mr Francis Prakash Dsouza, Co-partner Robosoft Technologies Pvt Ltd, Animators of ICYM Mr Valerian Noronha and Mrs Anita Alva. Ancita Dsouza, member of the ICYM Moodubelle unit welcomed the gathering and even compered the programme. Fr Jithesh introduced the quiz master.

 

The entire quiz event was organized by Mr Francis Prakash DSouza. All the wards of the parish with six member each participated in the general preliminary round. The Top 6 teams qualified were selected for the main quiz section. The six teams were from sacred heart I ward, sacred heart II, St Francis Xavier II, St Anna II, St Roque II and StJohn Baptist II ward respectively.

 

 

The quiz had variety of rounds from general information, culture, sports, films, music advertisement and current affairs.

 

The winners of the quiz were from Sacred Heart II ward and runners were from St. John Baptist II.

 

The quiz master Mr Francis Prakash Dsouza conducted the quiz in a creative manner and was honored by giving memento by Rev Fr Jithesh Castelino. Trophies were given to the winners and the runners up by Fr Jithesh Castelino and ICYM animators.

 

The entire noon was well spent by the parishioners representing the various wards with enthusiasm and fun.
