Bantwal: Antic collector Mohd Yasir conferred Aryabhata International Award

Bantwal, 01 Jun: Mohammed Yasir, young entrepreneur of Kalladka, near here and owner of antic items was conferred coveted Aryabhata International Award, during the award ceremony held at Ravindra Kala Mantap, Bengaluru on Thursday, May 30 evening.

 

 

DD director Nadoja Mahesh Joshi, Justice H N Nagamohan Das, S A Chenne Gowda, H L N Rao, Aryabhata Cultural Foundation chairman Bhavanishanker Acharya were present.

 

Mohammed Yasir is a vivid collector of postage stamps, rare coins and currencies among a very few in Karnataka. His collection has ancient lamps, utensils and soft drink bottles etc. He has exhibited his collections in many locations, while the Award further enhanced his hobby.
