Udupi: St. Milagres Credit Sauhardha Co-Op. Ltd. inaugurated in Moodubelle

Udupi/M’Belle, 28 May: St. Milagres Credit Sauhardha Co-operative Ltd, was inaugurated at ‘Sabeena’ Complex, Main Road, Moodubelle on Tuesday, 28 May 2019 at 11.30 am. Fr. Clement Mascarenhas, Parish priest of St. Lawrence Church, Moodubelle inaugurated and blessed the well-furnished premises of the cooperative bank.
Besides Fr. Clement Mascarenhas, the inaugural function was attended by Mrs. Ranjani Hegde-President of Belle Grama Panchayat, Gerald Fernandes-Former President of Udupi Zilla Panchayat, Devdas Hebbar-Managing Trustee, Shri Brahmalingeshwara Temple, Kattingeri, Andrew Gilbert D’Souza-Member of Belle Grama Panchayat, Mukunda Kamath-Businessman, Moodubelle, Anil Paul D’Souza-President, Catholic Sabha, Moodubelle, Mrs. Jyothi Lobo-President, Stree Sanghattan, St. Lawrence Church, Moodubelle and Ln. Ivan D’Almeida-President, Lions Club, Moodubelle.
Soon after the inauguration and blessing of the complex by Fr. Clement Mascarenhas, the inaugural function was organized. Mrs. Seema Haldipur welcomed the guests following which the dignitaries formally inaugurated St. Milagres Credit Sauhardha Co-operative Ltd. by lighting the lamp.
George S. Fernandes, the Mangling Director of the bank narrated the origin, growth, expansion and services rendered by the cooperative bank. He said that St. Milagres Credit Sauhardha Co-operative Ltd. was founded in 2003 at Karwar and with the passage of time it spread its service to different parts of Uttar Kannada and later to 8 other districts of Karnataka. Presently, there are 97 branches of the cooperative bank and its turnover is around 690 Crores of rupees. Besdies attractive deposit plans, the cooperative bank also has other services such as loan advancing, value added services and insurance services.
The Moodubelle branch of St. Milagres Credit Sauhardha Co-operative Ltd. is headed by Mrs. Felcy D’Souza as Manager supported seven staff members.
