Bantwal: Norbert D’Souza (50), proprietor of Nithydar Travels & Congress activist passes away

Bantwal, 11 May: Fifty-year-old Norbert D’Souza, native of Loretto Padav, near here, proprietor of Nithyadar Travels and Congress activist passed away due to brain haemorrhage on Thursday, May 8 afternoon.
He is the son of Pius Rodrigues, resident of Mandady, Loretto Padav, near here.
He suffered a stroke on Wednesday, May 8 evening and admitted to Thumbay Hospital, later shifted to Unity Hospital, Mangaluru, where he passed away on Thursday.
He owned Nityadar Travels with a fleet of 5 passenger buses; beginning his career as bus agent.
He is survived by his wife Babita, son and daughter. His mortal remains are placed at the morgue of Thumbay Hospital, till his family members arrive from overseas. The funeral will be held on Saturday, May 11.
The former minister Ramanat Rai, Bantwal block Congress president Baby Kunder, former block president Mailappa Salian, ZP member Padmashekar Jain and others visited the family to console them.
