Udupi: Pandit Sri Keshavji Ginde Presents Spiritual Flute Music Recital at Manasa, Pamboor

Udupi/Pamboor, 10 Apr: Pandit Sri Keshavji Ginde, a renowned flute player and Guinness and Limca Record holder along with Anam Prem Group of Mumbai presented Spiritual Flute Music at Manasa, Pamboor on Wednesday, 10 April 2019 at 10 am. Pt. Sri Keshavji Ginde originally hailing from Belagavi and settled in Pune has been researching in flute music and has given a number of presentations in different parts of India.
Prior to the Spiritual Flute Music presentation, a brief stage programme was organized that was presided over by Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Gonslaves, Parish priest of Shankerpura and Spiritual Director of Catholic Sabha, Udupi. Other dignitaries on the dais included Roshan Belamn, founder of Humanity Foundation, Pt. Sri Keshavji Ginde, Vishnumoorthy Nayak, Henry Menezes-Presdient of Manasa, Joseph Noronha-Secretary and Sr. Ancilla Fernandes-Principal. Other dignitaries who attended the programme were: Dr. Edward Lobo, Dr. Gerald Pinto, Commodore Jerome Castelino. Parents of specially abled children as well as members of Anam Prem Group of Mumbai were present.
The programme was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Gonsalves along with other dignitaries by lighting the lamp. In his message, Fr. Gonsalves stressed upon the importance of music, that too music by flute in developing the mental faculties.
On this occasion, Pt. Sri Keshavji Ginde and Roshan Belman were felicitated for their achievements in their respective fields.
Speaking about his journey through the music of flute, Pt. Sri Keshav Ginde said that Shri Krishna had given two important gifts to humanity-Bhagwadgita and the music of flute. Pt. Ginde narrated about his experiments in flute music.
First, one of the disciples of Pt. Sri Keshavji Ginde presented flute music. Later, Pt. Sri Keshavji mesmerized the audience with his fine musical presentation.
Henry Menezes-President of Manasa welcomed the guests, Joseph Noronha proposed the vote of thanks and Ashwini and Mrs. Murel Premlatha compeered the programme.
