Bengaluru: TRIO World Academy holds Exhibition on Conservation of Energy

Bengaluru, 09 Apr: TRIO World Academy conducted an exhibition on ‘Conservation of Energy’ as an environmental awareness program for the students, here on Monday, April 8. Class V students addressed the Global issue on energy conservation and exhibited their little contribution towards the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, where India is also a part of it. Among the 17 goals of the Sustainable Development agenda, ‘Affordable and clean energy’ is one among it.

 

Reflecting their responsibility as Global Citizens they formed the central Idea of conserving and of Harnessing Energy. They addressed conserving and harnessing different forms of energy like Kinetic Energy (Art in Motion), Bioluminescence, Piezoelectricity and many more.

 

 

Students took up the responsibility to synthesise and apply their learning into practice for the well-being of the global society. They created awareness about harnessing energy through simple day to day activities.

 

As Solar and wind energy have been very effective and efficient sources of renewable energy. They created a simulation of solar and wind energy that calculates the amount of energy that the solar and wind turbines for a certain amount of time. Their goal with this was to make people aware of the potential effects of solar and wind energy.
