Eshwarappa receives death threat call, files complaint

Shivamogga, 08 Apr: MLA and former deputy chief minister K S Eshwarappa has submitted a complaint to Superintendent of Police M Ashwini alleging that he received a death threat call from an unknown person. He has also sought police security for him.
In the complaint, he said an unknown person phoned him on April 6th when was heading towards Shivamogga from Bengaluru and made a death threat to him for denying ticket to Muslim community in the Lok Sabha polls. The caller spoke to him in Urdu and Kannada.
The caller made phone call twice to him. The BJP leader also stated that the caller abused him and disconnected the call.
