Mangaluru: Congress observes Black Day against merger of Vijaya Bank with BoB

Mangaluru, 01 Apr: Dakshina Kannada District Congress Committee (DCC) observed Black Day in front of Vijaya Bank ATM that is located next to their office, Mallikatte, here on Monday, April 1 morning, against merger of Vijaya Bank with Dena Bank and Bank of Baroda (BoB). It will now have new entity belonging to BoB Group that will be largest bank after State Bank of India and ICICI Bank.

 

The Congress veterans including Ramanath Rai, former MLA J R Lobo, Congress candidate contesting in general elections Mithun Rai and others wore black badges to observe black day.
