Mangaluru: International Award winning Kannada Children’s movie, Gandada Kudi premiered

Mangaluru, 30 Mar: Gandada Kudi, Kannada children’s movie, produced under the banner of Invenger Technologies by K Satyendra Pai and K Krishna Mohan Pai, directed by Santosh Shetty Kateel was premiered at Big Cinemas, Bharat Mall, here, on Friday, March 29.
Leela Shanker Shetty, mother of the late Santosh Shetty released the movie.
Speaking on the occasion, Satyendra Pai said that the movie is based on the perils of human intervention in destroying the eco hotspot of Western Ghat that is rich in flora and fauna, biodiversity. The pristine nature of Malnad is depicted in movie. The song ‘Nadendare Kannada Nadu,’ about the homeland Karnataka was already become a hit already. He urged the movie lovers to view the movie.
Ad Labs chief Balakrishna Shetty, K Krishna Mohan Pai, Sudhakar Kudroli, Madhu Suratkal, Karnataka state journalists Union core committee member Jagannat Shetty Bala, Prasad K Shetty, Narasimha Mallya, Arvind Shetty, Razak Puttur, Raviraj Ganiga, Chetan, Preeta Menezes, Yogish, Vasudev Kalluraya, movie distributor Balakrishna Shetty Puttur and others were present.
R J Prasanna compered the programme.
The movie is premiered in Big Cinemas, PVR and Cine Polis, in Mangaluru; Ashirrvaad theater in Udupi; Big Cinemas in Manipal; Sri Krishna theater in Kasargod; Planet theater in Karkala; Amarasri theater in Moodbidri; Vinayaka theater in Kundapura; Shanker theate in Byndoor and across Karnataka.
The movie bagged 21 awards
Although it’s the regional movie that has bagged 21 awards including India, Santiago, Mexico and Chile.
