Konkani Retreat held for first time in Nashik

Nashik, 28 Mar: Jesuit community of Holy Cross parish, here in collaboration with their Konkani Association organized Lenten Retreat in Konkani for the first time here on Saturday, March 23 from 5.30pm to 9.30pm and on Sunday, March 24 from 3.00pm to 9.00pm.

 

 

Fr Anil Kiran Fernandes, SVD of Divine Call Center, Mulky, Mangaluru held the retreat that helped nearly 400 faithful of Mangaluru and Goa origin settled in Nashik, to revive their spiritual experience during the Lent.

 

Fr Fernandes reflected on sin, fear, lust and greed in order to be faithful to Christ who is the savior of mankind.

 

The retreat helped the participants to soul search of any wrongdoing and to be reconciled with the Almighty God.
