Riyadh/KSA, 27 Mar: Karnataka chapter of India Fraternity Forum – Riyadh organized Sneha Koota-2019, mega family get-together as part of Fraternity Fest-2019 in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at Takat View Resort, Al-Sulai, here on Thursday, March by 21.

 

The event began after reading Quran verses by Hafiz Adil Hussein.

 

Karnataka chapter of India Fraternity Forum – Riyadh general secretary Tajuddin Puttur welcomed the gathering. He also explained the key objective of their association and their humanitarian deeds.

 

 

In his presidential address, Karnataka chapter of India Fraternity Forum – Riyadh president Ismail Yusuf said that the event aims at strengthening the community bond with Indian expats in KSA. He appealed the gathering to come forward to uplift the oppressed in their community keeping aside any differences among them.

 

In his keynote address, India Fraternity Forum central Committee president Harris Mangaluru explained the need for NRIs to be aware of changed political scenario in India. The reigning Hindu nationalist party has failed in all fronts during its 5-year term. It has divided the people in lines of caste and religion. He urged the gathering to elect right candidates shunning the nationalist and communalist party in reigning again as the parliamentary polls are fast approaching.

 

India Fraternity Forum – KSA general secretary Mohammed Rafi inaugurated the programme.

 

Khidma Foundation former chairman Hanif Basroor, Dakshina Karnataka Muslim Okkoota chairman Aziz Bankal and Dr Kaiser also spoke on the occasion.

 

Hidaya Foundation chairman Ilyas, Murdeshwar Jamaat president Ashpak Koteshwar, Addoor Riyadh Committee president Abdul Salam and Katipalla Muslim Youth Association president Abdul Aziz Katipalla were present at the dais.

 

The winners of IFF-Young Artists’ drawing competition were announced. Rumas bagged the first place in junior division. Luha Fatima bagged the second place and Noh M Khan bagged first place in senior division.

 

Variety cultural shows were held as part of entertainment programme.

 

Sultan Builders Mangaluru and STC Pay were the key sponsors of this event.
