Bantwal: Festive atmosphere created at SSLC Exam Centres for students to shun fear

Bantwal, 22 Mar: Welcome arch set up at the entrance gate of the school, decorations s erected to welcome the students, colourful flags adorn the skies….don’t guess it’s the elaborate arrangement for school day. It’s the preparations done by teachers to welcome the students who are appearing in SSLC exams on Thursday, March 21.

 

It’s being done to create festive mood at 17 exam centres in Bantwal taluk to attend their exams in fear-free environment.

 

All the arrangements are put in place at the exam centres to hold the exams hitch-free as per the instructions of Karnataka Secondary Examinations Board with student-friendly atmosphere.

 

 

The education department aspired to welcome the students to the exam centres in a festive mode, likewise all in exam centres including at Montepadav and Vogga are adorned to welcome the brides and bridegrooms.

 

Five-thousand-six-hundred-twenty-five students are appearing for exams in 17 centres across Bantwal taluk. Each centre has a chief superintendent and 9 deputies. Seventeen custodians and 350 exam hall overseers are entrusted with their duties. The basic amenities such as seating, drinking water and toilets are available at the centres. The prohibitary orders are clamped in the vicinity of schools to thwart any irregularities and copying with CCTVs, electricity supply. The medical officers of local public health centres are on standby duty to provide first aid to students suffering from any illness during exam time.

 

The exams will conclude on April 4 with Hindi exam.
