Mumbai: Positive thinking changes course of life – Dr Amulya

Mumbai, 10 Mar: One can change the course of life by positive thoughts. The empathy and respect is the need to shun depression. The positive thoughts should strengthen a woman to lead the family towards peace and happiness, said renowned psychologist Dr Amulya Nagaraj.
Dr Amulya was speaking after inaugurating World Women’s Day celebration that was organized by women wing of Billawar Association Mumbai® at Narayana Guru auditorium, Billawa Bhavan, Santacruz (East), here on Friday, March 8 evening.
Billawar Association Mumbai president Chandrashekar S Poojary presided the programme.
Dr Avani Vashist Maniyar, social activist and animal lover Sumitra Moodbidri, session court advocate Soumya C Poojary were the chief guests present at the programme that was held at the leadership of women wing president Jayanti V Ullal.
The philanthropist Mohini V R Kotian was felicitated in traditional manner. Women wing founder president Vasanti Saliankar, former vice president Srimanti S Poojary and Deepti Dinesh Suvarna were felicitated for donating toward care fund.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Maniyar said that women are capable of achieving the impossible by grit and determination.
Sumitra Moodbidri said that animals and nature are part of humans who can live peacefully with general awareness.
In his presidential address, Chandrashekar Poojary said that women by nature are sacrificing for the betterment of their families. The society need to respect the women.
Chitra Kotian rendered the prayers. Sumitra Bangera compered the programme.
The women members presented variety cultural shows and the children staged dance recitals as part of entertainment event.
