Mangaluru: ICYM Episcopal City Deanery organizes Mega event, Yuva Thalentaan – 2019

Mangaluru, 05 Feb: ICYM Episcopal City Deanery, Mangaluru organized its Mega event Yuva Thalentaan – 2019 at Rosario Cathedral Hall, here on January 26.

 

Violla D’Silva - president, ICYM Episcopal City Deanery welcomed the gathering.

 

Chief guest Yuvaspoorthi Fr Ronald Prakash D’Souza – director, ICYM Mangaluru diocese along with Fr J B Crasta – deanery vicar, Episcopal City Deanery, Fr Clifford Fernandes – director, ICYM Episcopal City Deanery, Jaison Leroy Pereira, Shirthady – president, Fevisha Monteiro, Ranipura - general secretary, ICYM Central Council, Mangaluru diocese, Adrian D’Souza, Manjeshwar - deanery representative for ICYM Episcopal City Deanery from ICYM Central Council, Mangaluru diocese, Viyolla D’Silva – president and Vishma D’Cunha – secretary, ICYM Episcopal City Deanery inaugurated the programme in a unique way.

 

 

On this auspicious occasion, Yuvaspoorthi Fr Ronald Prakash D’Souza, Fr J B Crasta and Fr Clifford Fernandes addressed the gathering with the few words of encouragement and informed the youth to take active part in their respective Units as well in the deanery. Jaison Leroy Pereira, Shirthady spoke on the significance and awareness on organ donation with an inspirational video about organ donation.

 

Units of ICYM Episcopal City Deanery actively participated in the event. The jury for the programme were Nellu Permannur, Maria D’Souza and Francin Mascarenhas.

 

A wide variety of talents were exhibited by the units of ICYM Episcopal City Deanery. The youth came up with their tremendous performances which amazed the jury as well the audience.

 

Rollen Cutinha – president, ICYM Cascia unit compered the formal programme and Vishma Dcunha compered the cultural programme. Aston Fernandes – president, ICYM Rosario unit proposed the vote of thanks. ICYM Jeppu unit bagged the winner’s trophy and ICYM Valencia unit bagged the runners up trophy of Yuva Thalentaan - 2019. The programme concluded with ICYM Theme song.
