Udupi: Passport, maiden Konkani movie of Christa Jyoti Cine Creations set to premier on Jan 26

Udupi, 21 Jan: Passport, maiden Konkani movie of Christa Jyoti Cine Creations will be premiered at St John’s church, Shankerpura, near here, on Saturday, January 26 at 6.00pm.

 

Bishop Dr Gerald Lobo of Udupi will release the movie, in the presence of diocesan vicar general Fr Dr Baptist Menezes, Fr Denis D’Sa and other dignitaries.

 

 

The movie has a social message at the prevailing times of weakening relations between elderly parents and children, said scriptwriter and movie producer Fr Royson Fernandes.

 

The movie was shot in and around Udupi for a month, while its trailer and songs already have become popular. The movie team has plans to take the movie to the people as the viewers of Konkani movies at theaters are dwindling. Vinod Gangolli directed the movie that has over 40 casts. Prajot D’Sa is the music director of this movie that is likely to create new movement in Konkani movie industry, stated their communiqué.
