Mangaluru: Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences signs MoU with ISDC, UK to promote careers

Mangaluru, 07 Dec: Nurses at Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences (NUINS) will have a bright future with Memorandum of Understanding (MoM) signed with International Skill Development Corporation (ISDC, United Kingdom) and University of West of Scotland, to promote career advancement and placement in United Kingdom.
This state-of-the-art training Centre will facilitate the entire aspiring health professionals to equip themselves to clear their licensing examinations for UK. It will be a unique training centre in Mangaluru venture by NUINS where the nurses will be receiving training in English language (IELTS/OET), Computer Based Test (CBT) and Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE).
The MoU was signed by Prof Dr Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, vice chancellor of Nitte (deemed to be University), Dr Claire Chalmers, associate dean, School of Health Nursing and Midwifery, Univesity of West Scotland and Joel Cutinho, head project, ISDC.
Prof Dr Alka Kulkarni, registrar of Nitte (deemed to be University), Dr Fatima D’Silva, principal of NUINS, Prof Sabitha Nayak, vice principal of NUINS, Gincy Joseph, placement officer of NUINS, Nitya Chethan Chakravarthy, legal advisor, Nitte (deemed to be University) were present during MoU exchange.
