KCO Abu Dhabi - Stage set for dazzling event ‘Fiesta 2018’ on Nov 9th

Abu Dhabi, 07 Nov: As Konkani Cultural Organization Abu Dhabi under the aegis of K.C.O. Trust(R), Mangalore celebrates 23 years of service to the marginalized and underprivileged sections of the society. The Stage is all set at the Abu Dhabi Country Club for their Annual Cultural Extravaganza – “Fiesta 2018”. The Event will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 5:00pm onwards. The spectacular family event will comprise of top-notch entertainment, music, dance followed by a sumptuous buffet dinner.

 

 

“Alcatrazz” Goa’s most popular band will be flown in from India along with Ace singers Vijay Vas and Md. Iqbal from Mangalore. Multilingual singer Anitha Serrao from Abu Dhabi will join the band and other singers in rendering a memorable performance. Laterally with the above singers, Nagesh Burbure a multi-talented artist from Mumbai will mesmerize the audience with his top-notch Bollywood performance.
Michael D’silva the charismatic president of KCO is leaving no stone unturned to showcase the great KCO tradition of entertainment. He and his team have invited all to be a part KCO’s annual show and have promised to provide delightful entertainment from evening till midnight.

About the Artists:

"Alcatrazz" Band:

 

 

In 1993, Patrick, Peter, Jude & Cassius (Cassy) all accomplished musicians in their own right and armed with nothing more than their passion for music, came together to form a band under the banner "Alcatrazz".

 

They have since regaled audiences at weddings, parties, conferences, and live shows making them one of Goa’s busiest bands. Their fame, spreading across the borders, saw them being invited to perform in other states in India and Abroad. They have the distinction of being Goa’s ambassadors at the Republic Day Parade in New Delhi on numerous occasions. The Band comprises of Patrick, Peter, Cassius, Royston, Sandra, and Cassian. Their passion for pure, unadulterated music and the desire to offer the best is sure to leave Abu Dhabi’s Konkani crowd enthralled.

 

Anitha Serrao:

 

Anitha a born singer and has a God gifted melodious voice, she started singing form a very early age of 5. Anitha has sung with almost all the Popular and World-Famous Konkani Singers like Konkan Kogul Wilfy Rebimbus, Yodeling King Melwyn Peris, Maand Soban Erric Ozario, Claud D’souza and Henry D’souza of Katrina fame. She also has the privilege of signing for almost all the renowned Music Directors and composers in an around Mangalore and Karnataka. Multi-lingual Singer Anitha can sing in multiple languages including Konkani, Kannada, Hindi, Tulu, Beary, Malayalam, Arabic to mention a few.

 

She has been honored with various titles like ’Kala Tilaka’, ’Tulunada Gaana Kogile’ and ’Vishwa Gadinada Rani Kogile’ by different Organizations for her contribution to Music.

 

Mohammed Iqbal:

 

 

Mohammed Iqbal is a Talented and Multi lingual Singer from Mangalore. A Civil engineer by Profession, his passion and love towards music has made him popular and house hold name in and Mangalore. In spite being a Non-Konkani speaker, he has rendered his melodious voice to many Konkani albums. The Song Suzanna, his first Konkani Song from the Album-Nashibantlya Chedva (By Roshan Belman) was an instant Hit. He is sure to display the same Magic in Abu Dhabi and get the crowd to the dance floor with his scintillating voice.

 

Vijay Vas:

 

 

Vijay Lancy Vas is a young energetic and well know singer from Mangalore famously called as the Pop Star of Mangalore. He has performed in hundreds of live shows alongside renowned Konkani Musicians and Singers. He has rendered his Voice for many Music albums and also released his own Hindi Video Album called “Pyaar” and Konkani Album “Laram Mojya Mogachi”. He loves to sing Pop, Masala, Soft Rock and Disco and has been performing with various bands and choir in Mangalore.

 

Nagesh Burbure:

 

 

Nagesh is a Filmfare awards Star performer and has performed in various Musical Acts and Stage shows in India and around the World. He is expected to bring back the memories of yesteryear actors like Raj Kapoor, Rajesh Khanna, Dev Anand and Mehmood back to life with his amazing acting and dancing skills.

 

Roashan D’silva:

 

 

The event will be hosted by the one and only Roshan D’silva from Dubai, who with his unmatched style will keep everybody engaging and entertained.
