Mangaluru: 51 volunteers donate blood at Red Drop Kulur 2K18 organized by ICYM

Mangaluru, 19 Sep 2018: ICYM of St Antony’s parish, Kulur, here, in collaboration with A J Hospital organized Red Drop Kulur 2K18, blood camp under ICYM Blood Account at St the parish mini hall, here, on Sunday, September 16.

 

Fr Vincent D’Souza, parish priest of St Antony parish, Kulur presided the programme.

 

 

Chief  guest Fr Ronald Prakash D’Souza - director ICYM Central Council Mangalore diocese, Dayananda  Shetty - Corporator  of Kulur ward, Gopal Krishna - Blood Bank In charge of A J Hospital, Lavina  D’Souza - President Catholic Sabha of Kulur parish unit and Claver D’Souza - Animator of ICYM Kulur unit.

 

Anusha Ferrao, member of ICYM Kulur unit welcomed the gathering. Fr Ronald Prakash D’Souza, Fr Vincent D’Souza, Dayananda Shetty and Gopal Krishna addressed the gathering on the importance of blood donation.

 

Reeshal D’Souza thanked all the guests and felicitated them with a memento each as a token of gratitude and compered the inaugural programme.

 

Seventy donors had come to donate blood but only 51 were eligible as per medical tests.

 

ICYM Kulur unit members have worked hard to be a helping hand towards the needy as well for the success of this event.
