Puttur: St Philomena College to organize Philo Nrithyothsava-18 on Aug 20 & 21

Puttur, 19 Aug 2018: St Philomena College, here, in association with directorate of Student Welfare of Mangalore University will organize Intercollegiate Dance Competition ‘Philo Nrithyothsava-18’ at College auditorium from August 20 to August 21.
The inaugural programme will be held on August 20, at 9.30am.
The vice chancellor of Mangalore University Dr Kishore Kumar C K will inaugurate the programme. The campus director of the College Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro will participate as the chief guest.
The alumni B Krishna Bhat and Ramakrishna Shetty will be the guests of honor. The correspondent Fr Alfred J Pinto will preside.
The valedictory programme will be held on August 21, at 4.00pm.
The director, Student Welfare, Mangalore University Dr Barkur Udaya will participate as the chief guest.
The Professor of K S Hegde Medical Academy, Nitte University, Deralakatte Dr Suchetha Kumari N and the artist at Tribal Tattoo, Mysuru Yogesh Pravin Gowda will be the guests of honor.
The Principal Prof Leo Noronha will preside.
On the first day at 4.30pm, a special concert ‘Raga Ranjani’ will be held. The popular artistes Prashanth Subrahmanya, Karthik K, Nithesh Kumar, Satwik Bedekar, Vinaya Acharya, Vishwas, Rajashekar, Rohit Mangaluru will perform.
The convener of ‘Philo Nrithyothsava-18’ Prashanth Rai will coordinate the programme. More than 600 students from 50 colleges affiliated to Mangalore University are expected to participate in this Two-Day programme.
