Udupi/M’Belle: Small Christian Community organizes ‘Bible Mirror Method’ workshop

Udupi/M’Belle, 17 Jun 2018: The Small Christian Community (SCC) of St. Lawrence Parish Moodubelle organized the ‘Bible Mirror Method’ workshop on Sunday, 17 June 2018 from 9 am to 12 noon at St. Lawrence PU College Hall.

 

The inaugural function of the workshop was inaugurated by Fr. Clement Mascarenhas, Parish Priest of Moodubelle by reading a passage from the Gospel according to St. Mathew. Highlighting the meaning of the passage, Fr. Clement said that the participants in the workshop are the salt and light of the parish and they have great responsibility of spreading their light.

 

 

Fr. Herald Pereira, Director of the Small Christian Community (SCC) of Udupi Diocese was the resource person. In his introductory remarks, Fr. Herald stressed upon the need of getting trained in the ‘Bible Mirror Method’ in order to conduct the SCC meetings at the Ward level.

 

The Workshop commenced with paying respect to the Holy Bible by each and every individual.

 

Ignatius Monis, Convener of the Small Christian Community of Moodubelle welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Eliza Mendonca compeered the stage programme.

 

Fr. Herald Pereira conducted the workshop with anecdotes,  reading from the Gospels and group activities.

 

Around 150 members attended the workshop.
