Udupi: Sana Kousar, talented poor student aspires to be CA; pleads for financial help

Udupi, 24 May 2018: Sana Kousar, Class X student of Faizal Islam English Medium School, Shirva, near here, secured 608 marks with 97.28 percent in the recently held SSLC examinations, by sheer hard work and without attending any coaching classes. She is the first in their school to get highest marks so far.

 

 

She is the daughter of Saabjaan, daily wager who is a native of Arasikere, living nearby masjid at Shirva, near here. She is the youngest Saabjaan and Zubaida couple. Their son studied at the same school and secured second class, now studying II PUC in St Mary’s College, Shirva. The couple is semi literate and despite acute poverty hopes to educate their children.

 

Now-a-days, Saabjaan has some health issues and finds it difficult to go to work. They live in a rented house near the school. In spite of economic hardship, Sana aspires to be a chartered accountant and employed.
