Qatar: Alphonse D’Silva’s Konkani album Vol 2, Tururu released

Doha, 30 Apr 2018: Tururu, Konkani album volume 2 of Alphonse D’Silva, member of Mangalore Cultural Association (MCA) was released during the function held here, on April 20.

 

 

MCA president Veena Rebimbus Pais, advisory Committee members Felix Lobo, Jerry Pinto and Wilfred Fernandes along with the vice-president Clement Saldanha, secretary Hema Fernandes and treasurer Jason Quadros were present. 

 

This album was dedicated to 3 departed souls of late Ambrose Pinto, late Vincent L Pinto and late Lawrence D’Silva (father of Alphonse D’Silva).

 

Music by Roshan D’Souza Angelore, lyrics by Alphonse D’Silva, Wilson Kateel, Lloyd Rego, Sanjay Bhorker and  Ryan Lobo. Play back singers were Alphonse D’Silva, Nihal Tauro, Lavita Lobo, Munita Veigas, Shelton Pinto, Queenie Fernandes, Prakash D’Souza, Velita Lobo, Clement Fernandes, Meera Crasta and Stephen Cutinha. There are 13 Konkani songs in Album. Alphonse D’Silva’s First Album Volume 1 is ’Tum Khoin Asai’ released in 2016.  He got inspired by his first venture and stepped for his second album, which has yet another unique collections of his own creation and tune selection will surely soothing your ear.
