Mumbai, 20 Mar 2018: The sparrows were abundant long ago but are fast dwindling in their numbers owing to rapid urbanization. The fast phase of life in cities and towns across India allows a little or no time to care for such tiny birds.
Meanwhile, a journalist – Rons Bantwal who is a animal and birds lover living in Love View, Chakala, Andheri (West), here, has been caring for parrots, sparrows, crows and other birds in his gallery with food and bountiful of love. Their chirping gives his family the joys of soothing music.
Today is the World Sparrow Day – There were a few sparrows a few years ago in the abode of Rons Bantwal, but their numbers are doubled in many times owing to caring Rons Bantwal family. The sparrows have developed friendship with his family and are fed varieties of food daily.
