Bantwal: Mayor Bhaskar assures regular water supply to Mangaluru city till May end

Bantwal, 17 Mar 2018: Thumbay vented dam that supplies drinking water to Mangaluru city has 5.60 meters of stored water that would be sufficient by end of May, said mayor Bhaskar K.

 

 

Addressing the media persons after reviewing the water level at Thumbay vented dam, near here, on Friday, March 16 evening, mayor Bhaskar said, ‘The civic body taken all the precautions for regular water supply and urged the citizens not to waste water unnecessarily.

 

The deputy mayor Mohammed, Karnataka legislative council chief whip Ivan D’Souza, former mayor Sasidar Hegde, Ashok Kumar, D K Latif, Appy and Sabita Misquit, municipal commissioner Mohammed Nazir, engineers Linge Gowda and Naresh, others were present.
