Mangaluru: MLA Bawa inaugurates newly-concreted road at Baikampady Industrial Area

Mangaluru, 11 Mar 2018: Mangaluru north MLA B A Moideen Bawa inaugurated main road of Baikampady Industrial Area that was developed at a cost of Rs 11, during a function held in front KIADV office, here, on Saturday, March 10.

 

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Bawa said, ‘The road has been developed at a huge sum in the history of Baikampady Industrial Area, thereby fulfilling 2-decades-old demand of entrepreneurs and local residents for better infrastructure. The concreted road has proper drains and footpath,’ said MLA Bawa.

 

 

He also said, ‘Efforts will be made to connect Baikampady Industrial Area with Mangaluru International Airport via Jokatte, that would be nearer by 5 kilometers.’

 

Baikampady Industrial Area entrepreneurs Hemant, Nazeer, Asgar Ali, Nasir Lucky Star, Sadasiva Shetty, Baikampady auto rickshaw owners-drivers Association president Sriyan, Harris, local school betterment Committee chairman Ilyas were present.
