Excise sleuths seize 7,805 liters of illegal liquor at Bajal

Mangaluru, 21 Feb 2018: The excise sleuths seized 2 truckloads of 7,805 liters of liquor that was illegally stored, here, on Tuesday, February 20.

 

 

On a sure tip-off by excise joint commissioner Shailaja A Kote, the sleuths raided a house at J M Road, Bajal, here, on Tuesday morning, seized truckload of liquor stored in 223 plastic cans of 35 liters each, with total quantity of 7,805 liters and seized the truck and Pulsor motor cycle, altogether worth Rs 11 lac. They also arrested the accused Joseph who confessed that it was loaded to supply to Kerala.
