Udupi: Ovin Rodrigues, Student of SAC, Mangaluru bags 1st prize in intercollegiate elocution competi

Udupi, 13 Feb 2018: The students’ welfare Committee of Milagres College, Kallianpur, near here, organized Monsignor D J D’Souza memorial inter-collegiate elocution competition at College auditorium, on Saturday, February 10.

 

The College principal Dr Vincent Alva after inaugurating the competiton, said that the competiton helps the students to become better speakers, develop self confidence to face interviews and enhances personality.

 

 

The students’ welfare Committee president Princely, secretary Vineeta K, directors Professor Subramanya Joshi and Professor Annamma were present.

 

Ovin Rodrigues, student of St Aloysius College, Mangaluru bagged the first prize, while Rohit Basri, student of SDM College, Ujire bagged the second prize. Akshay Hegde, student of MGM College, Udupi bagged the third prize.

 

Dr Vincent Alva presented the trophies to the winners.

 

III B Com student Srinidhi Kamat welcomed the gathering. I B Com student Sanjana proposed vote of thanks. Jotsna, III B Com student compered the programme.
