Kundapur: St. Joseph Vaz Annual Feast celebrated at Holy Rosary Church

Kundapur, 16 Jan 2018: St. Joseph Vaz Annual Feast of Kundapur Varado celebrated at Holy Rosary Church, Kundapur with grandeur on Sunday, 14th January 2018. Large number of devotees arrived from different  parishes and attended the solemn Eucharistic celebtraion.

 

Fr. Clifford Fernandes, professor, St Joseph’s seminary, Mangalore was the main celebrant of the celebration. He broke the word of God and presented a meaningful homily on the personality and missionary zeal of St. Joseph Vaz. Many priests of the varado were present on the occasion.

 

Fr. Anil D’souza, vicar vara conducted the Novena Prayer of St Joseph Vaz.

 

 

“St. Joseph Vaz Jinnye Darshan” a Konkani short film on the miracles of St. Joseph Vaz, produced by Vinod Gangolli of St. Joseph Vaz Centre, Mangalore was  released and screened.

 

Fr. Praveen Amrith Martis, and the Choir members presented melodious Kannada hymns Prizes were distributed to the winners of Christmas crib competition. Mrs Leena Tauro thanked all.
