Bantwal: Burglars make vain attempt to loot Vijaya Bank, Urimajalu branch

Bantwal, 14 Dec 2017: The burglars attempted to burgle a branch of nationalized bank at Urimajalu, at the limits of Idkidu gram panchayat, near here, on Tuesday, December 12 night.

 

The burglars broke open the main shutter to enter Vijaya Bank, Urimajalu branch in Idkidu village, near here.  Meanwhile, they tried in vain to break open the safe locker.

 

 

The police are taking the help of finger print experts and sniffer dogs to get clues of burglars.

 

Vittal police registered a case in this regard and investigations are in progress.    

 

There have been burglary attempts targeting co-operative societies and banks at the limits of Vittal police station.
