Doha: MCA, Qatar announces upcoming events during AGM

Doha/Qatar, 02 April 2016: Mangalore Cultural Association (MCA), a social cultural association affiliated to Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) here held their annual general body meeting at Ashoka Hall of ICC, here on Friday April 1.

 

MCA Qatar president Arthur Pais and vice president Aloysius D’Souza escorted the advisory Committee members Felix Lobo, Joachim D’Souza and Jerry Pinto to the dais.

 

MCA Qatar treasurer Clement Saldanha and general secretary Sandeep Noronha were also present.

 

Arthur Pais address in his preliminary address thanked the supporters and well wishers of MCA Qatar for their generous help since the past 7 years. He also announced the upcoming events of MCA Qatar.

 

 

MCA Qatar secretary Sandeep Noronha prsented the annual report, while treasurer Clement Saldanha presented the annual accounts.     

 

John Pinto conducted some spot games to the gathering an d winners were presented with attractive gifts.

 

Sandeep and Aloysius performed presented rib-tickling jokes act. Alphonse D’Silva enthralled the gathering with melodious music.  Qatar Konkani upcoming female singer Carol D’Souza joined Alphonse whilst singing all time hit number ‘Mog Kariya.’ Alphonse, Wilson, Neil D’Silva and Ullas D’Souza presented Konkani song ‘Mai-Sunn.’

 

Carol Avinash D’Souza compered the programme. Hema Ronnie D’Souza proposed vote of thanks.

 

The programme concluded with sumptuous dinner.
