Rotary Club-Shirva and Narayanaguru Schools-Pamboor participate in paddy plantation

Shirva, 15 January 2011: At a time when farmers find it difficult to cultivate their land due to various problems such as lack of man-power, the members of the Rotary Club of Shirva and the Interact Club members of the Narayanaguru English and Kannada Medium School of Pamboor in association with the Dharmasthala Gramabhivraddhi Yojane organised a unique ‘Saalu Natti’ (line planting) programme at the farm land of Umesh Prabhu  in Nadumane Palame on the 12th January 2011.

 

 

More than 150 students from the Narayanaguru English and Kannada Medium Schools participated in this unique event in which the students were explained the idea of cultivating paddy crop under a new and more productive manner. The students showed great interest and enthusiasm in the paddy cultivation.
