Mumbai: Niranjana Swami (93) of Ambika Annaporneshwari temple passes away

Mumbai, 21 May 2015: Ninety-three-year-old Niranjana Swami of Ambika Annapoorneshwari temple, Saath Rasta, Mahalaxmi, here and also founder of Ambika Annapoorneshwari temple and education institutions at Sunkadakatte, Bajpe, Mangaluru passed away here on Thursday May 21 morning owing to cardiac arrest.

 

The mortal remains of Niranjan Swami was placed at Ambika Annapoorneshwari temple premises, Saath Rasta, here to pay public homage. It would be taken to Ambika Annapoorneshwari temple, Sunkadakatte, Bajpe on Friday May 22 afternoon for the last rites.

 

Niranjan Swami lived a life of penance and immersed in deep spirituality. He had celebrated his seventy-fifth birth anniversary with thousands of devotees in 2006.

 

 

He had founded Ambika Annapoorneshwari temple in Sunkadakatte, Bajpe, Mangaluru and also founded the education institutions and technical institute. The students who studied at the institutions are excelling in their professions in India and overseas. He was a philanthropists believed in educating the economically-weaker students to carve out better future.
