M’luru: Preliminary meeting ahead of Beatification of Blessed Joseph Vaz held at Hill Shrine,

Mangaluru, 04 Nov 2014: The preliminary meeting to celebrate beatification of Blessed Joseph Vaz at the hill shrine Mudipu, here from January 14 to January 16 was held at the leadership of state forests and DK district-in-charge minister B Ramanat Rai here on Tuesday November 4.

 

 
The state health minister U T Khader, DK Deputy Commissioner A B Ibrahim, MLC Ivan D’Souza, municipal assistant commissioner Ashok, Bantwal Tahsildar Malleswamy, Bantwal TP CEO Cyprian Miranda, executive engineers Umesh Bhat and K P Girish Gowda, tourism assistant director Prabhakar, Mudipu parish priest Fr Gregory  D’Souza, parish council vice president Alwyn D’Souza, secretary Leo D’Souza,  parishioners Ashok D’Souza, Michael D’Souza, Felix D’Souza, Arun D’Souza, Marcel D’Souza, Lancy Rodrigues, Stany Bantwal and   Praveen D’Souza of Konkani Prachar Sanchalan were present on the occasion.

 
The infrastructural developments that are required to be executed at the hill shrine for the historical event were discussed during the meeting.
