NSS Camp of St. Lawrence PU College Moodubelle concludes

Padubelle, 26 October 2010: NSS Annual Special Camp of St. Lawrence P.U. College, Moodubelle closing ceremony was conducted on 24 October 2010. Rev. Fr. Paul Sequeira, Principal of St. Lawrence High School, presided over the function. Closeout speech was given by Sadhananda Rao, Rtd. Teacher, Church Higher Primary School. Chief Guests of the function were Ignatius D’Souza – President Lions Club Subhash Nagar.

 

Other guests and dignitaries present in the function were, Richard Danthi – Founder President Old Student Association Padubelle, Maurice Noronha – Rtd. Teacher Padubelle, Henry Menezes – President Belle C.A. Bank Padubelle, Devdas Hebbar – President Old Students Association Moodubelle and Jinraj C. Salyan – Headmaster Shri Narayanaguru English Medium School Padubelle.

 

In his closeout speech during the closing ceremony Sadhanada Rao said that he is very happy that everyday routine works were adopted in this camp. Fr. Paul Sequira in his presidential speech said that, "in children we see God". He appreciated the discipline of the participants of the camp.

 

Jinraj Salyan spoke on the occasion and said "Pre University classes are the foundation of life. At this time the decision on the future route of life is to be created. Now the guidance is very important". He spoke highly about the 7 days camp and appreciated the efforts of  the Officer In charge of the camp Edward Larsan D’Souza.

 

 

Some of the participants of the camp shared their experience and briefly narrated on what they gained by this camp. Sunil said that he had stage fear, but now he is bold enough to talk on the stage which became possible by this camp. "I was thinking what is this camp?, but now I have learned about gardening work" said another participant, Jevita.

 

The prize winners on various categories during the camp are, Dairy Writing: Jevita, Sankrathika Karaykramagalu: Sunil and Akshaya, Sramadana: Diksha and Venil, Acting: Sunil and Kavitha.

 

The program was compeered by Kavitha. Pawan Kumar welcomed all the guests. Edward Larsen D’Souza – Officer In charge of the camp proposed vote of thanks to all the guests, dignitaries and the sponsors.
