  • 500grm lean mutton
  • 450grm spinach finely chop
  • 100grm fresh mint leaves finely chop
  • 1 cup plain yogurt beaten
  • 4 medium onions finely chopped
  • 8 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1 inch fresh ginger crushed
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1tsp coriander powder
  • 10 green chilies seeded and finely chopped
  • 4tbsp veg oil
  • salt to taste


Heat oil in deep pan, fry onions until brown, add garlic and ginger;

next add spices, mutton and stir. Fry the mutton for few minutes;

add salt and cover for 10 minutes. Reduce the fire and add yogurt to the mutton stir occasionally.

Then add spinach and mint mix thoroughly cover the lid cook until meat is tender. serve hot with rice or roti.
