Why so many Principals are changing and why always this temporary and make shift arrangements in Moodubelle school only. This is not good for school and children.

Welcome Fr.Lancy, wish you every success. I hope you will serve in Moodubelle for the full term of atleast 7 years.

I request the concerned authorities and correspondents to look into the issue of constant changing of Head masters, as this is not good for the schools image. I am sure atleast 4 to 5 head masters have changed in last 5 years time. No parent will have the confidence to send their children when the school management is uncertain about the future.

May all the vistims of this tragedy rest in peace and may their families get the strength to go through this phase. Its a shame that our government has been unable to investigate the cause and keep us aware of what caused this accidents. One can only wish that there were no accidents but we all know its not possible. Its important to know if this was an accident or ignorance else we can rest assure that news like these can reach our own homes for our own loved ones one day. Whats even more annoying is that how can a black box not be found. Its suppose to be of a quality to withstand any accident, this only raises doubt on whether its really not found or its being concealed. The latter seems to be most probable and hence it questions the integrity and creadibility of Indian Government.

Surprised to see the transfer of Fr. Maxim from Belle parish. We had a high hope that under the leadership of Fr. Maxim the English Medium School to reach to moderate level.
Since the beginning ,the school is facing difficulties to reach its expected level. The kannada medium school is slowly fading in Belle due to shortage of students. We had a hope at least English medium will attract students who are going to nearby schools.
The reason given by parents of those students who are going to nearby school is that they want to give best education to their children. Now a day’s every family is having one or two child, parents do not compromise with education. Due to globalization it is necessary for the children to get best training to be in the competition.
So our school is lacking in terms of good leader, trained qualified teachers, good infrastructure, curricular activities, good and neat campus.To raise the standard of students, first need to raise the standard of teachers and facilities providing in the school.
The management is giving the reason for above shortfall is shortage of funds. Now the question is ,where we have to continue the school or close down and there is no third question. If we want to continue then we have look into how to raise the funds. And the quiet approach of management will make the things still worst.
It is the high time to think seriously about the future of this school. And it is duty of every Bellean to contribute within their capacity to develop this school and raise the standard of the school in par with other neighboring schools.
I request to the parish council to include this in the agenda of Centenary celebrations.
Hope the new priest will remain as headmaster at least 4-5 years and see the growth of the school. Otherwise it will be another send-off and welcome programme with no parishioners involvement. Can Catholic Board throw some light on this to see some solution to avoid this school as another training school.

Belle parish is geographically one of the vast parish of the diocease.It was a herculeous task for the priest to visit each and every house during the house blessings. The enire distance of each ward used cover in a single day by walk and that was the target. Unlike now , around 3 decades ago Belle was one of the backward village interms of infrastructure is concerned. Now the entire thing is changed and has got all the facilities. Sad and worrying factor is mostly aged and senior people are living in our parish. Recently celebrated elders day is witness for this. When catholic sabha announced the age limit for this celebration, they were stunned and compelled to increase the age limit from 65 years to 70 years.The reasons may be many for this.
It is good to see the spirit of parishioners while participating in the ward activities. Let our patron saint bind all our parishioners together as one family. Thus the parishioners help each other during thier dificult times.
I request all our parishioners to come forward to help the parish priest and members of centinary celebration committee for the betterment of church and parish.
