Bangalore, 01 November 2010: After getting the much-needed relief from the High Court, which upheld the disqualification of 11 BJP MLAs, Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa is now set to expand his ministry in the next week.
If all goes according to plan, the expansion - a record eighth one in two-and-a-half-years - will take place either on November 3 or 4.
Independent MLA Varthur Prakash and Surpur MLA Narasimha Naik, who switched sides in the last minute to save the Yeddyurappa government, are sure to get Cabinet berths this time. The names of senior MLAs CT Ravi, Appachchu Ranjan, Jeevaraj and Sogadu Shivanna are also doing the rounds.
