Governing Body Meeting of the Global Confederation of Trade Unions held at Mulki

Mangaluru: The Governing Council meeting of the Global Federation of Bunts Associations (RI) was held in the Amritotsava building hall of Bunts Hostel.

 

The meeting was presided over by the president of the union, Aikala Harish Shetty.

 

He said that Kanyana Sadashiva Shetty air-conditioned hall will be constructed in Thonse.

 

A decision was taken in the meeting to construct a well-equipped air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of about 1,200. The hall will be constructed and dedicated to the society in the month of April 2025. Ikala Harish Shetty said that the cooperation of all the society is necessary for this.

 

Union Mahadani Kanyana Sadashiva Shetty was the chief guest.

The chief guest Savanur Sitarama Rai said that the social service of Kanyana Sadashiva Shetty, K Prakash Shetty and Aikala Harish Shetty will always be remembered and the Banta Samaj will always be indebted to them for having such leaders who immediately respond to their concerns and difficulties.

 

Vice President Karnire Vishwanath Shetty spoke in introduction.

 

Mumbai Bantar Association President Praveen Bhoja Shetty, Shasidhara Shetty Innanje, Dr RK Shetty participated as guests. Treasurer Ultur Mohan Das Shetty, Venu Gopal Shetty Thane, Ratna P Shetty Mumbai, Ajit Hegde Pune, Girish Shetty Tennaru, Nagesh Hegde Udupi, Hari Prasad Rai Udupi, Lokesh Shetty Bantwala, Sridhara Shetty Brahmavar, Suresh Rai Makar Jyoti, CA Dayacharan Shetty, Advocate Prithviraj Rai was first present.

 

General Secretary Jayakara Shetty Indrali welcomed. Chandrahasa Shetty saluted. Anoop Shetty Suratkal prayed.

 

On the same occasion, Rakshan Sheikh Salethoor, who secured the highest marks in the NEET examination, was felicitated by the president of the union.
