Udupi: Members of Lions Club, Moodubelle Visit Shri Krishna Balaniketana, Kukkikatte

Udupi, 18 Dec 2021: Members of the Lions Club, Moodubelle paid a visit to V. K. Acharya Memorial Shri Krishna Balaniketana at Kukkikatte and spent an hour with 35 children of the Balaniketana on Saturday, 18 December 2021. The children were given presents, fruits and snacks. 

 

Ln. Valerian Noronha-President of the Lions Club, Moodubelle, Ln. Joseph Martis-Secretary, Ln. Elias Lobo-Treasurer, Ln. Devdas Hebbar, Leo Joyce Fernandes-President of Leo Club, Moodubelle and other Lions and Leo members were present.

 

 

Shri Krishna Balaniketana, Kukkikatte, Udupi sponsored by Shri Krishna Sevadhama Trust is a charitable institution that provides a decent and dignified  upbringing to the children deprived of parental love and care and also assist them to educate themselves and acquire skills which would assure them a productive and successful future. On the initiative taken by Shri Vishwesha Thirtha Swamiji of Shri Pejawar Matha, Shri Krishna Balaniketana started its operation in a building constructed with the help of Dr. A.R. Acharya, Mumbai and other benevolent persons in 1990 on 3.25 acres of land belonging to Shri Pejawara Matha at Kukkikatte.
