M’Belle: St. Paul I Ward celebrates Ward Feast

Udupi/M’Belle, 26 June 2015: Members of St. Paul I Ward celebrated their Ward feast on Sunday, 21 June 2015 at 12 noon at the residence of Marcel Mendonca. Parish priest Rev. Fr. Clement Mascarenhas, Director of Assisi Nilaya, Rev. Fr. Victor Fernandes and Secretary of the Parish Council, Mrs. Latha D”Mello were the guests of honour.

 

In his message, Rev. Fr. Clement Mascarenhas stressed on the fact that it is important for the members of the ward to live in cooperation, unity and being of help to each other.

 

 

Two meritorious students of the ward, Ancita D’Souza who had scored 95.5% marks in PUC and Priston D’Souza who had scored 94.5% marks in SSLC were honoured by the parish priest. Rev. Fr. Victor Fernandes distributed prizes to those who were victorious in various games and those who attended all the ward meetings without fail during the last year.

 

Members of  the ward presented a skit named “Tuzo Pelo Konn...?” directed by Mrs. Violet D’Souza. Besides, this songs and dances were presented as part of entertainment.

 

Mrs. Benedicta Castelino welcomed the guests and ward members, Smitha D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks and Anusha Mendonca compered the programme.

 

Rev. Fr. Clement Mascarenhas recited the grace before the meal and the ward feast concluded with lunch.
