Shirva: Road Traffic Safety Awareness Program Conducted

Shirva, 02 February 2012: Though the traffic of vehicles is increased five times in the last ten years, there is no development in the road. The compliance of road traffic rules is most important and it can control majority of the road accidents, opinioned Udupi Regional Traffice Authority Senior Inspector Ravishankar.

 


 
He was speaking in the “Road Safety Awareness Program” jointly conducted by Udupi Lions Club and Lioness Club, in Shirva Muli Sundara Rama College. The program was presided by College Principal Dr. Sudhakar Marla. Lions President Ravindra Acharya, Lioness President Sumati R. Acharya, Senior Lions Member Kaup Shridhara Nenava, R.P. Monis, Suresh Prabhu, Lions Road Safety Committee District President Nandakishor were present on the dias.
 
Subrahmanya Bhat welcomed the guest and the gathering. Kannada Lecturer Raghurama Shetty compeered the program. Prof. Karunakara Nayak proposed vote of thanks.
