Mangaluru: U T Khader gets threat calls; Congress urges police to file FIR

Mangaluru, 01 Feb: Dakshina Kannada district Congress Committee informed the media persons during the press meet held at their office, here on Wednesday, January 29 that they will approach law enforcement agencies to register case on those who are making threatening calls to former Karnataka minister and reigning MLA U T Khader. The calls were originated from Mumbai.
They also urged the law enforcement agencies to trace the callers at the earliest; if delayed they would hold sit-in in front of the office of Superintendent of Police.
The Congress veteran Ramanat Rai said, ‘The opposition parties have no protection in our country. Congress was pro-development, while BJP is trying to divide the society.’
The Karnataka former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, youth Congress leader Mitun Rai and others were present.
