Bantwal: Kar Committee to save & sustain state-run schools seeks support of Anna Hazare

Bantwal, 08 May: The delegation Karnataka Committee to save & sustain state-run schools met Anna Hazare, the veteran crusader of Lokpal at Ralegaon – Siddi, Pune on Tuesday, May 7.
The Committee has drawn up plans to save & sustain state-run schools; also to introduce uniform education policy across the nation. The delegation held consultation with Anna Hazare in this regard.
Anna Hazare expressed support for the Committee in their quest to save and sustain state-run schools in Karnataka. He said, ‘In democratic country, the people are kingmakers and the elected representatives are their servants. Meanwhile, it’s quite opposite in our country now. If the people are united and wage struggle that would become successful,’ said Hazare.
Karnataka Committee to save & sustain state-run schools chairman Prakash Anchan, honorary president S Rajashekar, general secretary Purushottam, treasurer Sandeep Salian, members Ashok A Chikballapura, Vikram Harekala, Mayur Kirti and Ramachandra Poojary were present at the delegation.
