Mangaluru: Voting for Lok Sabha polls peaceful in DK; 77.25% voters’ turnout

Mangaluru, 19 Apr: The voting for Lok Sabha polls in Dakshina Kannada district was peacefully held on Thursday, April 18 from 7.00am to 6.00pm with voters’ turnout at 77.25 percent.

 

 

It’s significant that the voters enthusiastically participated in voting throughout the day. 

 

Beltangady taluk recorded 80.92 percent turnout; Moodbidri taluk recorded 73.17 percent turnout; Mangaluru south recorded 74.83 percent turnout; Mangaluru south recorded 69.15 percent; Bantwal taluk recorded 80.31 percent turnout; Puttur taluk recorded 80.71 percent turnout and Sullia taluk recorded 84.10 percent.
