Udupi: Deepavali celebrated at Anandateerta Vidyalaya, Pajaka-Kunjarugiri

Udupi, 13 Nov: Deepavali is a festival of light that promotes bonds, ignites creativity and jest for life. It shuns ignorance and brings happiness and joy for good health, said Professor Rakesh Kumar Kammaje, head of department of journalism, Vivekananda College, Puttur.

 

Professor Rakesh was speaking during Laughter Fest that was organized as part of Deepavali by Anandateerta Vidyalaya, Pajaka – Kunjarugiri that is governed by Pejavar mutt, here on Saturday, November 10.

 

 

The School principal Geeta S Kotian, teachers, students, hostel warden and staff were present.

 

The administrator Gurudut Somayaji compered the programme.

 

The students presented variety cultural events on the occasion.
