Udupi: Abbanadka Friends Club observes 19th Kargil Vijay Divas

Udupi, 28 Jul 2018: Durgaparameshwari Friends Club, Abbanadka – Nandalike, near here, observed 19th Kargil Vijay Divas, at their Club office on July 26.

 

 

The members of the Club lighted candles to pay homage to 527 martyred soldiers of Kargil war with Pak.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the Club president Rajesh Kotian said, ‘We are fortunate to be with our families where we get everything. Meanwhile, our brave soldiers who are guarding national borders work in hostile environment to give us security. They are sacrificing their comforts for us.’

 

The Club former president Suresh Poojary Kasrabail, secretary Prashant Poojary, Harinakshi Poojary, Pushpa Kulal, Geeta Kulal, Padmasri Poojary, Arati, Ashwni Prabhakar and others were present.
