Bantwal: Yashasvi, bags bronze in International Chess Championship held in UK

Bantwal, 21 Jul 2018: Yashasvi, Class X student of Kadeshwalya High School, near here, who represented India International Chess Championship for dumb and deaf held in Manchester, UK recently, bagged bronze.
She is the daughter of Timmappa Moolya, who is working as lab assistant at SVS College, here and Yashoda couple who is working as teacher at Government School.
She was trained by Satyaprasad Kote, director of Genius Chess School, Puttur.
She had bagged first prizes in Karnataka Chess Championship held in Mysuru during November 2017 and National Chess Championship held at Madhya Pradesh during December 2017.
The school authorities including Bantwal MLA Rajesh Nayak congratulated Yashasvi for bringing laurels to their school and constituency.
Yashasvi was brought in a colorful procession to Kadeshwalya School hen she arrived from UK.
