Bantwal: Dengue cases on rise in taluk due to incessant rains

Bantwal, 20 Jun 2018: Eight cases of dengue are already confirmed; further 52 suspected cases are reported in Bantwal taluk. A few of them are treated in state-run hospitals and private hospitals, while a few are taking medications at their homes.

 

One each cases of dengue are reported in the limits of 7 primary health centers (PHCs) that is Vamadapadav, Panjikal, Bantwal town, Manchi, Deivastala and Kurnad. Two cases are confirmed in Punjalkatte PHC.

 

The health officials urge the people to clear stagnant water in household, plantations and other areas.
