School Day celebrations are Children’s Fest - Pundalika

Udupi, 05 Dec 2017: The children have many talents, while they get a platform to exhibit their wide range of talents during annual day celebration that is being eagerly awaited by them. Meanwhile, such occasions should not be filled with boring speech, instead it has to by joyous occasion, said the retired teacher and journalist B Pundalika Marate.
Marate was speaking during annual day celebration of Surya Chaitanya Global Academy School, Kutyar, near here, on Saturday, December 2.
The annual day celebrations are joyous occasion for both students and their parents to celebrate their achievement, said Pundalika.
Palimar gram panchayat member Gayatri Dinesh Prabhu inaugurated the programme.
ZP member Reshma U Shetty Inna, Pompeii College lecturer Ananta Moodittaya distributed prizes to the winners.
The School correspondent Vidwan Shambudas Guruji offered info about the effects of malnutrition of students and the responsibility of their mothers.
Gayatri D Prabhu, Pundalika Marate and couple were conferred Parashu Puraskar for their contribution for social cause and education sphere. The senior teacher Deepa Rao read the report. The reacher Veena and Rekha read the citation letter. Preeti Lata, Sangeeta and Amita introduced the prize winners.
The School principal Laxminarayan Bhat was present.
The teachers Ashwita, Anita, Divya, Jayasri assisted in the cultural shows. The teacher Ambica proposed vote of thanks.
The students presented dance recital as part of cultural event. The programme concluded with sumptuous food.
