Abu Dhabi, 21 August 2010: The next price hike on petrol prices in the UAE will come a few weeks after the Eid holidays, sources from oil company Adnoc told Gulf News.

The increase will include Special and E-plus fuel, and diesel. This is already the third increase in fuel prices this year.

According to the sources, litre prices will generally rise by 20 fils. This means that the cost of Special fuel will increase from Dh1.72 to Dh1.92 per litre.

The price per litre of E-plus will increase from Dh1.61 to Dh1.81,  the diesel price per litre will rise from Dh2.35 to Dh2.55.

The sources also said that this might not be the last increase for this year. Depending on people’s reaction, the oil companies may decide an additional rise before the end of 2010.
